Who I am
I'm a builder at heart. I enjoy the moment when a fuzzy idea turns into something that works, and I enjoy explaining how it got there even more. I spend most of my days around cloud platforms and AI, and most of my evenings tinkering, reading, and writing.
QuietKite is my studio: a small, independent home for the apps I make and the notes I keep. A kite flies because it is anchored, and that's the balance I'm after: curious and ambitious, but grounded.
What I build
My first app is FocusLock, a deep-focus app for Windows. It keeps distracting sites and apps out of the way while you study or work, and it runs entirely on your PC with no account and no tracking.
I build in the open where I can. Anyone can suggest features or vote on what comes next on the ideas board, and the apps that follow will share the same values: simple, private, and genuinely useful.
What I write about
The blog is where I think out loud. Four sections, four parts of me:
- ☁️ Cloud: Azure, architecture, and hands-on labs, with real commands and the mistakes I made on the way.
- 🤖 AI & agents: generative AI, copilots, agents, and what it's actually like to build software with AI.
- 🌱 Personal growth: mindset, reflections, and lessons from setbacks.
- 🎯 Focus & learning: deep work, habits, and study craft.
What I'm working towards
I want to keep learning in public, ship apps that make people's days a little calmer, and get better at turning hard technical ideas into clear, practical writing. If one post saves someone an afternoon, or one app helps someone finish what matters to them, that's a good day.
Say hello
I read every message. If something here helped you, or you'd like to talk about cloud, AI, or building things, get in touch.
