Which FocusLock file do I need?
The download page picks the right one for you. To check yourself, open Settings → System → About and look at System type. Most PCs need x64; ARM-based PCs (for example with a Snapdragon processor) need ARM64.
Windows says "Windows protected your PC"
Early access builds aren't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen doesn't recognize them. Select More info, then Run anyway. You can check your file with the SHA-256 checksum on the download page. The Microsoft Store version, coming soon, won't show this message.
The installer is blocked on my work PC
Organization-managed PCs often allow only approved apps. Ask your IT team, or wait for the Microsoft Store version.
How do I update or uninstall FocusLock?
Update: download the newest version and run it. It upgrades in place and keeps your sessions and settings.
Uninstall: open Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find FocusLock, and select Uninstall. To remove your data too, first use Settings → Your data in FocusLock.
How do I leave a session early?
Select Leave in the timer bar and hold it for 3 seconds, or press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F12.
A learning site or lab was set aside. What can I do?
On the reminder page, choose Allow for this session. To always allow the site, add it in Learning sources. Pages you open by following a link from your learning material stay open automatically.
Where is my data?
On your PC only. Use Settings → Your data to export or delete it. See the privacy policy.
